Job Description

Overview We are looking to add vibrant, motivated, compassionate teachers to our team! Our program is dedicated to providing high-quality child care that focuses on nurturing and growing children as whole, unique individuals. We believe in leading with grace, in the power of collaboration, and in the joy of early childhood. Responsibilities Use the provided curriculum to plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive, social, and emotional development in children. Provide attentive care to children, including feeding, diapering, and comforting as needed. Create a safe and nurturing classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning. Monitor children's behavior and apply positive behavior management techniques to model and support social interactions. Collaborate with parents and guardians to communicate progress, address concerns, and share developmental milestones. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the classroom to ensure health standards are met. Follow all safety protocols, including first aid procedures and emergency response plans, to ensure children's well-being at all times. Provide continuous, active supervision of the children at all times. Skills Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices. Experience working with children in daycare, preschool, nannying, babysitting, or classroom settings. Ability to work with individuals with disabilities or special needs with patience and understanding. Excellent classroom management skills to foster a positive learning environment. Effective communication skills for engaging with children, parents, and team members. Familiarity with behavior management strategies and caregiving techniques suited for young children. Requirements must be at least 18 years of age must be able to pass a childcare-specific background check current childcare-specific certifications and CPR certification preferred, but we will assist new hires with getting them as needed Benefits consistent schedule paid holidays vacation after 1 yr of employment PTO after 6 months of employment 50% employee discount on tuition ongoing professional development and assistance with obtaining professional certifications
