In this vital role, you will lead engaging classroom experiences that foster early childhood development, literacy, social-emotional skills, and physical growth. Your enthusiasm and expertise will create a warm, safe, and stimulating environment where young learners can thrive. As a Lead Teacher, you will be instrumental in implementing curriculum plans aligned with early childhood education standards, ensuring each child's unique needs are met with care and professionalism. This position offers an exciting opportunity to shape the foundational years of children's lives while collaborating with families and fellow educators to promote holistic growth. Duties Develop and implement dynamic, age-appropriate curricula that incorporate literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods to support comprehensive child development. Lead daily classroom activities that promote social skills, emotional regulation, early intervention strategies, and behavioral management techniques. Foster a nurturing environment by maintaining effective classroom management and ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to share progress updates, discuss developmental milestones, and address individual needs or concerns. Incorporate specialized instruction for children requiring additional support in areas such as special education or early intervention programs. Conduct ongoing assessments using standardized testing methods to monitor progress and adapt lesson plans accordingly. Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws related to child welfare and safety regulations while maintaining detailed records of daily activities and incidents. Experience Proven experience working with children across infancy to pre-kindergarten age groups in a licensed childcare or preschool setting. Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development, lesson planning, classroom management, and behavior management strategies tailored for young children. Familiarity with childhood development principles, including toddler care, preschool teaching techniques, and early literacy instruction. Knowledge of special education practices, early intervention programs, and Montessori educational philosophies is highly desirable. Strong communication skills for effective parent engagement and team collaboration. Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional credentials in early childhood education or childhood development are preferred. Experience working within daycare environments or similar settings that emphasize child welfare, standardized testing procedures, physical education activities, and classroom experience with diverse learners.
