Lead Preschool Teacher Confidential Reading, MA Job Details Part-time $20 - $24 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Paid time off Qualifications School experience Student supervision CPR Certification Early childhood education Associate's degree in early childhood education First Aid Certification Classroom experience Teaching experience with young children Associate's degree Classroom Teaching Early Childhood Education Parent-teacher conferences (communication methods) Full Job Description A wonderful preschool with great staff and families. This is a lead teacher position in our 4 year old class. Hours are 8:30-12:30 Responsibilities Reports to Director. Supervise and ensure the safety and well-being of the children at all times. Ensure a safe environment including inspection of materials and environment. Work as a team teacher planning curriculum that is developmentally appropriate and helps children develop physically, cognitively, emotionally and socially. Ensure regular observation of children throughout the day. Decorate the room including bulletin boards Maintain daily child attendance log. Attend monthly staff meetings. Meet with parents in January to discuss children's growth and development using approved progress report forms. Attend 12 hours of in-service training per school year as agreed upon with Director. Be familiar with state regulations as well as with Program Policies of The Day School.
Qualifications:
At least a 2 year degree in Early Childhood Education. EEC lead Teacher certification Experience working in a Preschool classroom. Must complete CPR and First Aid classes within 3 months
