Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum that promotes literacy, math, physical education, and social-emotional skills. Plan engaging lessons that incorporate Montessori methods or other educational philosophies aligned with early childhood standards. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about children's progress, milestones, and any concerns. Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and maintain accurate documentation of child development observations. Support children with special educational needs through tailored instruction and collaboration with specialists in early intervention or special education. Qualifications Proven experience working with young children in preschool or daycare settings. Knowledge of child development principles and early childhood education best practices. Skills in curriculum development, lesson planning, classroom management, and behavior management strategies. Familiarity with Montessori methods or standardized testing is a plus. Ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members. Certification in First Aid and CPR is required; ongoing professional development is encouraged.
