Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a Christian worldview and be able to foster a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the social, emotional, spiritual, and cognitive development of young learners. This role involves implementing engaging lesson plans, integrating scripture into lessons, and collaborating with parents to support each child's growth. A strong emphasis on literacy education and early intervention strategies is essential to ensure all students thrive in their educational journey. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with curriculum standards. Utilize various teaching methods to enhance student engagement. Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and learning. Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to students and parents. Collaborate with co-teacher and fellow educators in curriculum development and classroom management strategies. Provide mentoring and support to students, addressing individual learning needs through early intervention techniques. Maintain accurate records of student performance and behavior. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns. Requirements 90 hour certificate or 1-2 years of lead teaching experience. Experience in a school setting is necessary. Strong skills in lesson planning, curriculum development, organization, and classroom management. Proficiency in literacy education techniques and early intervention strategies. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with an ability to connect with young children and their families. Ability to balance play and education for a developmentally appropriate classroom environment. A commitment to fostering an environment that integrates Christ into all aspects of education.
