Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated Daycare Assistant to join our early childhood education team. In this role, you will support the daily operations of our childcare center, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children. Duties Assist lead teachers in implementing age-appropriate activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development Supervise children during playtime, meals, naps, and outdoor activities to ensure safety and engagement Support classroom management by maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming environment Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's daily experiences, progress, and any concerns Follow all health and safety protocols, including first aid procedures and mandated reporting laws Help with diapering, feeding, and basic childcare routines for infants and toddlers Participate in ongoing training related to child development instruction, behavior management, and early childhood education best practices Qualifications Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, nannying, babysitting, or classroom settings is highly preferred Certification in first aid and CPR (including pediatric first aid) is required or willing to obtain upon hire Strong communication skills for parent interaction and team collaboration Ability to manage classroom behavior effectively while fostering a positive learning environment Passion for working with young children and supporting their growth through engaging activities Join us in creating a joyful space where children can explore, learn, and thrive!
