In this role, you will support lead teachers in creating a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment for infants and toddlers. Your enthusiasm and dedication will foster a love of learning from the very start of each child's journey, ensuring they feel secure, valued, and inspired to explore their world. Responsibilities Assist in implementing daily activities that promote social, emotional, and cognitive development tailored to infants and toddlers. Provide attentive care by feeding, diapering, and comforting children throughout the day. Support classroom management by maintaining a clean, organized, and safe environment for young learners. Engage with children through play, storytelling, music, and other age-appropriate activities that stimulate growth and curiosity. Collaborate with lead teachers to monitor developmental milestones and document progress. Follow health and safety protocols diligently, including first aid procedures when necessary. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about their child's day-to-day experiences and developmental updates. Experience Prior experience working with infants or toddlers in a daycare, preschool, or childcare setting is highly preferred. Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices. Experience with classroom management techniques suitable for young children. Familiarity with special education needs or working with children with disabilities is a plus. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and families.

Pay:

$13.75 - $15.00 per hour
