Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Lead Childcare Teacher to inspire young learners and foster a nurturing, engaging, and educational environment. In this vital role, you will lead classroom activities, develop innovative curricula, and support the holistic development of children. Duties Lead daily classroom activities, ensuring they align with developmental milestones and educational standards Develop and implement creative curricula that promote literacy, math, physical education, and social-emotional skills Manage classroom behavior through positive reinforcement and effective behavior management strategies Oversee classroom management to maintain a safe, organized, and stimulating learning environment Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress, needs, and achievements Support early intervention efforts by identifying developmental delays or special needs and collaborating with specialists as needed Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and maintain accurate records of child welfare incidents Supervise and mentor assistant teachers or aides, fostering teamwork and professional growth Incorporate childhood development principles into lesson planning and instructional methods Maintain up-to-date knowledge of early childhood education best practices, including preschool teaching techniques and standardized testing procedures Qualifications Proven experience working with children in educational or childcare settings, including preschool or daycare environments Strong background in curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management Knowledge of child development instruction, behavior management strategies, and special education needs Experience in early intervention programs and literacy education is highly desirable Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional certifications in childhood development or special education are a plus Excellent communication skills for parent engagement and team collaboration Familiarity with mandated reporting laws related to child welfare Demonstrated ability to teach physical education activities and support overall child wellness Prior experience with classroom experience involving toddlers to preschool-aged children is preferred Join us in shaping the future by providing exceptional care and education to our youngest learners!
