Overview Join our vibrant early childhood education team as a Child Care Assistant, where your enthusiasm and dedication will help nurture and support the development of young children. In this vital role, you will assist in creating a safe, engaging, and educational environment for children of various ages, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. Duties Supervise children during daily activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times Assist with implementing age-appropriate educational activities that promote childhood development and learning Support classroom management by maintaining organized and stimulating environments for children Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress, behavior, and daily needs Follow mandated reporting laws to report any concerns related to child safety or welfare Provide basic first aid and CPR when necessary, adhering to pediatric first aid standards Support children with diapering, feeding, nap times, and other routine care needs in compliance with health guidelines Experience Prior experience working with children in daycare centers, preschools, babysitting, nannying or similar settings is highly preferred Knowledge of early childhood education principles and childhood development stages Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus Classroom experience involving behavior management and classroom management techniques Familiarity with pediatric first aid and CPR certification is advantageous Understanding of mandated reporting laws related to child safety and welfare Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with parents, children, and team members in a professional manner Join us in creating a joyful learning environment where every child feels valued and supported!
