Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and energetic Preschool Teacher for our 3 year old classroom, to inspire and nurture young learners in a dynamic early childhood education environment. In this role, you will create engaging, developmentally appropriate activities that foster curiosity, social skills, and foundational learning. Responsibilities Design and implement creative lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards, incorporating curriculum development principles. Foster a nurturing classroom environment that promotes social-emotional growth, behavior management, and positive interactions among children. Support child development through individualized instruction, including special education needs and early intervention strategies. Maintain accurate documentation of children's progress, including assessments, standardized testing results, and behavior reports. Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns to ensure a collaborative approach to learning. Ensure classroom safety by adhering to health protocols such as first aid and CPR certification requirements and maintaining a clean, organized learning space. Collaborate with colleagues to plan physical education activities, literacy education sessions, and math-focused exercises that enhance overall child welfare and development. Skills Proven experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings, demonstrating strong classroom management skills. Knowledge of childhood development principles, including toddler care and preschool teaching methodologies. Ability to develop engaging curricula that incorporate literacy education, math skills, and physical activity components. Familiarity with special education practices, early intervention techniques, and behavior management strategies. Excellent communication skills for effective parent engagement and teamwork within an educational setting. Understanding of mandated reporting laws related to child welfare and safety procedures. Experience with classroom experience tools such as lesson planning software or assessment platforms is preferred. Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional credentials in childhood development or early childhood education are advantageous. Pay:
$13.73 - $27.13 per hour Expected hours: 30.0 per week
