Stay current on best practices in early childhood education, including preschool teaching strategies and classroom management techniques. Skills Extensive experience working with children across various developmental stages in daycare or preschool settings. Strong knowledge of curriculum development tailored to early childhood education standards. Proficiency in behavior management strategies and classroom management techniques that foster positive learning environments. Ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, staff, and community partners. Familiarity with special education principles, early intervention programs, and childhood development theories. Certification in first aid and CPR; knowledge of mandated reporting laws related to child safety is essential. Experience with lesson planning that integrates literacy education, math concepts, physical activity, and social-emotional learning.
