Job Description

KinderCare is seeking dedicated Teachers for our Champlin center to inspire and nurture young children through play-based learning. In this on-site role, you will design and lead age-appropriate lessons, ensuring a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom for diverse learners. Partnering with families, you'll track developmental milestones and communicate progress. You will collaborate with a supportive team, uphold health and safety standards, and contribute to a culture focused on growth, curiosity, and early childhood excellence, while gaining opportunities for professional development and career advancement. Responsibilities Plan and implement age-appropriate, play-based curriculum and activities Create a safe, nurturing, inclusive classroom environment Monitor children's development and communicate progress with families Maintain health, safety, and cleanliness standards Collaborate with teammates to support center-wide programs and events Follow licensing regulations and Kinder Care policies Engage children in hands-on learning, social-emotional development, and problem-solving Document observations and support individualized learning needs Required Skills Early childhood curriculum planning Classroom management Child development knowledge Health and safety compliance Parent and family communication Observation and documentation of child progress Lesson planning and activity design Behavior guidance and positive reinforcement Basic computer skills for reporting and communication Collaboration with teaching teams
