Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Child Care Assistant to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will support the development and well-being of young children by providing attentive supervision, engaging in educational activities, and fostering a safe, nurturing environment. Duties Supervise and monitor children during playtime, activities, meals, and rest periods to ensure safety and engagement Assist lead teachers in implementing age-appropriate curriculum focused on childhood development and learning milestones Support children with daily routines such as diapering, potty training, feeding, and personal hygiene with patience and care Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment that promotes safety and learning readiness Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress, behavior, and daily activities to foster strong partnerships Apply child supervision techniques that promote positive behavior management and social skills development Follow mandated reporting laws to report any concerns related to child safety or well-being promptly Experience Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or early childhood education settings is highly preferred Knowledge of child development instruction, classroom management, and behavior management strategies Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special education needs is a plus Certification in first aid and CPR (Pediatric First Aid preferred) to ensure quick response in emergencies Familiarity with early childhood education principles, including infant care, toddler care, and classroom experience Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with parents, children, and team members in a professional manner Experience working within daycare centers or similar childcare environments is desirable Join us to be part of a dedicated team committed to nurturing young minds!
