Job Description

Overview Join our vibrant early childhood education team as a Child Care Educator, where your passion for nurturing young minds will help shape the future! In this dynamic role, you will create engaging learning environments that promote childhood development, literacy, and social-emotional skills. You will work closely with children from infancy through preschool age, fostering their curiosity and supporting their individual needs. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact while developing your expertise in early childhood education and classroom management. Duties Design and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that incorporate literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods to stimulate learning and development. Provide attentive toddler care and support children with special education needs through tailored activities and early intervention strategies. Manage classroom activities to ensure a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment that promotes positive behavior management and child welfare. Collaborate with families, teachers, and specialists to develop individualized lesson plans that address each child's unique growth trajectory. Conduct assessments using standardized testing tools to monitor progress and inform instructional adjustments. Maintain detailed records of children's development milestones, attendance, and behavioral notes in compliance with childcare standards. Support classroom management by organizing materials, supervising activities, and fostering respectful communication among children and staff. Experience Prior experience working with children in childcare settings, preschool programs, or daycare environments is highly desirable. Demonstrated knowledge of childhood development principles, early intervention techniques, and behavior management strategies. Experience in curriculum development across various subjects including literacy, math, physical education, and special education is preferred. Classroom experience with toddlers or preschool-aged children, including lesson planning and implementing educational activities. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with families, team members, and external specialists. Familiarity with Montessori methods or other early childhood education philosophies is a plus. Previous involvement in private school or daycare settings will be considered an asset for this role. Pay:
$13.00 - $15.00 per hour
