Teachers partner closely with families, collaborate with colleagues, and participate in ongoing training. Responsibilities Plan and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans and activities for early learners. Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment. Supervise children to ensure health, safety, and well-being at all times. Communicate regularly with families about child progress and daily experiences. Collaborate with teammates to support center-wide programs and events. Observe, document, and report on children's developmental milestones. Maintain classroom organization, cleanliness, and compliance with licensing standards. Participate in ongoing training and professional development.
