Responsibilities Supervise and ensure the safety of children during daily activities, playtime, meals, and rest periods. Develop and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning, creativity, and social skills for toddlers, preschoolers, and school-age children. Communicate regularly with parents or guardians to provide updates on their child's progress and behavior. Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating environment that supports childhood development standards. Follow mandated reporting laws by recognizing signs of abuse or neglect and reporting concerns promptly. Assist with classroom management strategies to encourage positive behavior and support individual needs. Administer basic first aid or CPR when necessary to ensure children's health and safety. Qualifications Proven experience working with children across different age groups, including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and elementary school-age children. Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices. Prior experience working with individuals with disabilities is highly desirable. Valid certifications in first aid and CPR; ongoing training preferred. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with parents, team members, and community partners. Ability to plan engaging activities tailored to children's developmental stages and interests. Familiarity with behavior management techniques and classroom experience in daycare or preschool settings.
