Job Description
Job Overview Join our vibrant team as a Childcare Provider Assistant and play a vital role in nurturing and supporting the development of young children. In this energetic position, you will work closely with lead childcare providers to create a safe, engaging, and educational environment for children of various ages, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help foster positive growth experiences, promote early childhood development, and ensure each child's well-being is prioritized. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children's lives while gaining valuable experience in early childhood education. Duties Assist lead teachers and caregivers in supervising children during daily activities, playtime, meals, and rest periods Support children's social, emotional, and physical development through engaging activities and positive interactions Maintain a safe environment by adhering to safety protocols, including pediatric first aid and CPR procedures when necessary Help implement child development instruction plans tailored to individual needs and age groups Communicate effectively with parents about their child's progress, behavior, and daily experiences Support classroom management by organizing materials, setting up learning stations, and ensuring cleanliness Follow mandated reporting laws to report any concerns regarding child safety or well-being promptly Experience Prior experience working with children in daycare centers, preschools, babysitting, nannying or similar caregiving roles is preferred but not required Certification in first aid and CPR (including pediatric first aid) is preferred Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with parents, children, and team members Experience working with infants, toddlers, or preschool-aged children in daycare or early childhood settings (preferred) This role is perfect for passionate individuals eager to support young learners' growth while developing their skills in a dynamic childcare environment.
