Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Early Head Start Teacher to join our team. This role involves providing high-quality early childhood education and nurturing care to infants and toddlers, supporting their developmental needs in a safe and engaging environment. The position offers comprehensive training, including CPR certification, to ensure staff are well-prepared to meet the needs of young children. Pay is based on education level, reflecting our commitment to professional growth and development. Responsibilities Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development of infants and toddlers. Foster a nurturing, safe, and stimulating environment that encourages exploration and learning. Observe and assess each child's developmental progress, maintaining detailed records for program planning and reporting purposes. Collaborate with families to support children's individual needs and promote positive parent-teacher relationships. Ensure compliance with all licensing regulations, safety standards, and program policies. Participate in all required trainings provided by the agency, including CPR certification, to maintain a safe environment for children. Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment conducive to learning and development. Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching skills and stay current with best practices in early childhood education. Qualifications Passion for working with infants and toddlers with a strong commitment to early childhood development. Prior experience working with young children is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Ability to work effectively as part of a team and communicate well with families. Willingness to participate in all agency-provided trainings, including CPR certification. Education level requirements vary; pay is based on educational qualifications. Must meet any state licensing requirements for early childhood educators.
