Responsibilities Supervise children during play, learning activities, meals, naps, and outdoor time to ensure safety and engagement Implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote childhood development and classroom management Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming childcare environment in compliance with health and safety standards Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, behavior, and daily experiences Apply first aid and pediatric CPR when necessary, following mandated reporting laws to ensure children's well-being Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities and providing tailored care as needed Manage behavior using positive reinforcement techniques while fostering social skills and emotional regulation Experience Prior experience working with children in daycare centers, preschools, babysitting, nannying or similar settings is highly valued Knowledge of early childhood education principles, childhood development stages, and classroom management strategies Experience working with infants, toddlers, or children with special needs or disabilities is preferred Familiarity with child supervision protocols, behavior management techniques, and mandated reporting laws Certification in first aid, CPR (Child and Pediatric First Aid), and child safety procedures is strongly recommended Classroom experience or daycare experience demonstrating the ability to create engaging learning environments Proven ability to communicate effectively with parents and team members to support children's growth and well-being
