Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Child Care Provider to create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children of various ages. In this role, you will be responsible for supervising children, planning age-appropriate activities, and fostering their social, emotional, and developmental growth. Your enthusiasm and commitment will help children thrive while providing peace of mind to parents and guardians. Responsibilities Supervise children during playtime, meals, naps, and structured activities to ensure safety at all times Plan and implement engaging activities that promote childhood development, including early learning exercises for preschool children Maintain a safe environment by adhering to childhood development standards, behavior management techniques, and mandated reporting laws Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, behavior, and any concerns that arise Assist with basic caregiving needs such as diapering, feeding infants, and providing comfort during transitional moments Ensure compliance with health and safety protocols including first aid and CPR procedures when necessary Support children with disabilities or special needs by adapting activities and providing inclusive care Experience Proven experience working with children in daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying or similar caregiving roles Demonstrated knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices Experience caring for infants, toddlers, and preschool age children in classroom or daycare settings Familiarity with behavior management strategies suitable for young children Knowledge of mandated reporting laws related to child safety and welfare Prior experience planning educational activities tailored to various age groups and developmental stages Certification in first aid and CPR is highly preferred; ongoing training is a plus Join us in providing exceptional childcare that nurtures growth, inspires learning, and ensures safety.
