Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and energetic Lead Toddler Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will serve as a dedicated leader in guiding and nurturing our youngest learners, fostering a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment for toddlers. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote early childhood development and learning through play. Supervise and guide assistant teachers and caregivers to ensure high-quality care and education standards are maintained. Create a nurturing environment that supports social-emotional growth, positive behavior management, and inclusive practices for children with diverse needs. Monitor individual progress of each toddler, documenting developmental milestones and communicating with parents regularly. Ensure safety protocols are strictly followed, including first aid procedures and emergency response readiness. Manage classroom routines efficiently, including diapering, feeding, naptime, and engaging activities that stimulate cognitive and motor skills. Collaborate with families to support each child's unique needs, including those requiring special education or additional caregiving support. Skills Proven experience working with toddlers in a daycare or preschool setting with strong classroom management skills. Knowledge of childhood development principles, early childhood education best practices, and behavior management techniques. Certification in first aid and CPR; familiarity with emergency procedures specific to childcare environments. Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs; understanding of inclusive teaching strategies. Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, families, and team members effectively. Ability to create engaging lesson plans that foster curiosity and developmental growth in young children. Strong organizational skills to manage classroom routines seamlessly while ensuring safety and well-being at all times.
