Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing Daycare Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and a commitment to providing a safe, engaging, and supportive environment. This role involves assisting in the daily care and education of children, ensuring their well-being, and fostering their social and emotional development. Duties Assist in the supervision of children in a daycare setting, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. Support lead teachers in implementing age-appropriate educational activities that promote learning and development. Engage with children through play, arts and crafts, storytelling, and other interactive activities. Help maintain a clean and organized classroom environment conducive to learning. Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's progress and daily activities. Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed. Provide care for toddlers, including diaper changes, potty training support, and general hygiene. Work collaboratively with staff to support children with disabilities or special needs. Skills Experience in toddler care or childcare settings is highly desirable. Background in early childhood education or related fields is a plus. Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with children, parents, and colleagues. Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated. Familiarity with classroom management techniques and child development principles. Experience working with students or children of various ages is beneficial. Knowledge of caregiving practices that promote children's health and safety. Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with children are essential traits for success in this role.

Must have/willing to get:
