This contract role offers the opportunity to provide specialized instruction to an early childhood caseload (birth5 years) in a vibrant educational environment. Full-time and part-time options are available (part-time must be between 1525 hours per week), offering the flexibility to fit your skills and schedule. Youll work exclusively onsite, building close connections with students and collaborating with supportive colleagues.

Key Qualifications:

Credentialed and experienced as a Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing Background in early childhood education, ideally with birth5 age group Deep knowledge of best practices in language acquisition and communication strategies for children who are Deaf/Hard of Hearing Proficiency with various communication modalities (ASL, spoken language, total communication, etc.) Strong collaboration skills for working alongside families, staff, and specialists Compassion, patience, and a commitment to empowering diverse learners

Primary Responsibilities:

Develop and tailor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for a caseload of young children Implement engaging, research-based instructional strategies that promote language and developmental skills Regularly assess student progress and adjust interventions as needed Foster a supportive, inclusive classroom climate Communicate consistently with families about goals, progress, and resources Work collaboratively with other professionals to ensure comprehensive support services
