Our Lead Childcare Teacher earns $20.00/hour .

QUALIFICATIONS
Our Lead Teacher needs to meet at least one of the following state requirements: Completion of 18 credits in related coursework, including 3 credits in child/human growth and development, and 1000 hours of experience working with children in an elementary school or a licensed childcare program Completion of 12 credits in related coursework plus 3000 hours of experience working with children in an elementary school or licensed childcare program Non-expired child development associate (CDA) in center-based programs awarded by the Council for Professional Recognition A credential from a MACTE-accredited teacher preparation program 5+ years of experience as a licensed family childcare provider with no imposed enforcement actions Completion of the New Hampshire Early Childhood Apprenticeship Program 1000 hours of supervised childcare experience in a licensed program and completion of a 2-year vocational course in career and technical education with 9 credits in related coursework Documentation that you were qualified for and employed as a lead teacher on or before November 6, 2017
Preferred Criteria:
CPR/First Aid certification Ability to develop an educational and engaging curriculum Attention to detail and collaboration skills
LEAD CHILDCARE TEACHER RESPONSIBILITIES
Our Full-time Lead Teacher works 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, Monday - Friday . Our Part-time Lead Teacher Works either 8:00 am-1:00pm or 12:00 pm- 5:00 pm Every day is a new opportunity to spark joy, curiosity, and growth in young minds! As a teacher, you take the lead in designing creative, educational, and developmentally appropriate lesson plans based on a thoughtfully crafted themed curriculum calendar. Collaborating closely with your teaching team, you help make each day purposeful, engaging, and fun for every child in your care. You'll maintain a safe, compliant, and nurturing classroom environment, oversee daily activities, and serve as a positive role model for the children. Throughout the day, you'll also stay connected with families, sharing updates on their child's progress, daily experiences, and any concerns with warmth and care. You're a bright, joyful part of each child's day - and the heart of the classroom!
