Responsibilities:
Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities for toddlers or Pre-k.
Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow.
Foster social, emotional, and cognitive development through play & educational activities.
Monitor and assess each child's progress,, document and provide feedback to parents/guardians as needed.
Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a positive learning environment.
Maintain a clean and organized classroom.
Ensure the health and safety of all children in the classroom.
Qualifications:
Must have a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree in early childhood education or related field preferred
Previous experience working with toddlers/preschool-aged children, preferably in a licensed childcare center or preschool setting
Knowledge of child development principles and practices
Familiarity with behavior management techniques
Ability to communicate effectively with children, parents/guardians, and colleagues
First Aid and CPR certification preferred
Skills:
Experience working with students in a preschool or early childhood education setting
Knowledge of infant care, toddler care, and childhood development
Ability to educate children using age-appropriate teaching methods
Familiarity with special education practices for young children
