Overview We are seeking a passionate and energetic Temporary to Possible Permanent Early Childhood Teacher to join our vibrant educational team. In this role, you will create a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners, fostering their social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development. Your enthusiasm for early childhood education will inspire children to explore, learn, and grow while ensuring a safe and inclusive classroom setting. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact during a temporary assignment, supporting the foundational years of children's education. The school is a community and family oriented center. Candidates must have elementary or preschool teaching experience. Duties Develop and implement engaging curriculum plans tailored to preschool-aged children, infusing literacy, math, science, and social skills. Create a positive classroom atmosphere that promotes behavioral management and encourages curiosity and independence among children. Conduct child development assessments to monitor progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly. Communicate regularly with parents, guardians and director about children's progress, milestones, and any concerns related to child welfare or behavior. Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and maintain accurate documentation of student activities and incidents. Facilitate activities that support early intervention efforts for children with developmental delays. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment that adheres to health and safety standards, including first aid and CPR protocols. Experience Prior experience working with children in early childhood settings such as daycare centers, preschools, or private schools. Over five years experience is preferred. Degree in early childhood education is required. Knowledge of childhood development principles. Proven ability to communicate effectively with young children, parents, colleagues, and administrators. Strong conflict resolution skills are preferred. Familiarity with behavior management techniques and physical education activities suitable for young learners. Certification in first aid and CPR in early childhood education or special education are advantageous.
