$19.50-20.00 The Head Teacher is responsible for developing a cohesive teaching team, coordinating the The Creative Curriculum, and managing the day-to-day activities of the classroom. The Head Teacher will be working with a mixed age group of (4-5 years old) must understand children's cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development in order to ensure a safe and stimulating classroom environment where children are actively engaged and encouraged to succeed. The Head Teacher must be skilled in communicating with both children and adults to meet the needs of the children, effectively guide teacher assistant, and resolve parental concerns. Key Responsibilities Coordinate and implement Creative curriculum by developing classroom activities based on developmentally appropriate practice. Plan weekly lesson plans following Creative Curriculum standards. Plan individual and group activities to actively engage children and encourage social, cognitive, and emotional growth. Utilize Teaching Strategy Gold standards to observe and conduct a formative assessment to measure student educational progress. Conduct parent- teacher conferences twice in a school year. Lead by example; encourage teaching team success through modeling and coaching. Maintain frequent communications with parents through informal discussions, progress reports, and parent-teacher conferences. Ensure all center, district policies, and state regulations are met. Ensure a healthy classroom environment - including maintaining appropriate hygiene and cleanliness standards, safety, and security of children. Supervise teacher assistant to ensure they are following planned activities, hygiene, and safety standards. Maintain accurate records, forms, and files. Maintain a personal professional development plan to ensure continuous quality improvement.

Requirements:

• CDA in Preschool/ (6) Early Childhood Education/physicology credits
• or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, or related field.
