Support classroom routines by helping with diapering, feeding, and hygiene practices in accordance with health and safety standards. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's daily progress, needs, and any concerns that arise. Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning. Skills Knowledge of child development principles and early childhood education best practices. Experience working with young children in daycare, preschool, or classroom settings. First aid certification (including pediatric first aid) and CPR training to respond confidently to emergencies. Strong communication skills for effective parent interaction and teamwork within the childcare environment. Classroom management skills to foster positive behavior and create a structured yet flexible routine. Ability to work compassionately with children of diverse backgrounds, including those with disabilities or special needs. Familiarity with mandated reporting laws and child safety protocols.
