Job Description
Job Overview 7:30am
- 5pm Monday to Friday We are seeking a dedicated and caring Childcare Provider to join our team.
- Provide high-quality childcare and education to children ranging from infants to preschool age
- Develop and implement engaging and age-appropriate activities, lessons, and games
- Create a safe and stimulating classroom environment, ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of all children
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
- Monitor and document children's progress, identifying and addressing any developmental concerns
- Implement special education strategies and accommodations for children with special needs
- Collaborate with other childcare professionals to develop and implement curriculum and lesson plans
- Ensure compliance with all relevant childcare regulations and standards
- Maintain accurate records of daily activities, attendance, and staff interactions Experience
- Experience working with children, particularly in a childcare or early childhood education setting
- Knowledge of early childhood development and education principles
- Familiarity with special education strategies and accommodations
- Ability to create engaging and age-appropriate activities and lesson plans
- Experience in classroom management and maintaining a safe and organized environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Ability to lift and carry children and equipment, as needed
- First aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
