Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher for our morning program to inspire and nurture young learners during their foundational years. In this role, you will create a vibrant, engaging classroom environment that promotes early childhood development and fosters a love for learning. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that incorporate early childhood education standards, including literacy education, math, physical education, and social skills. Create a nurturing classroom environment that encourages curiosity, exploration, and positive behavior management. Engage children in hands-on activities that promote cognitive development, fine and gross motor skills, and emotional regulation. Communicate regularly with parents or guardians to share progress updates, discuss developmental milestones, and address any concerns related to child welfare or behavior. Maintain accurate records of student progress, assessments, and standardized testing results to monitor growth and inform instruction. Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and health & safety regulations by maintaining a safe classroom environment and providing first aid or CPR when necessary. Collaborate with colleagues on lesson planning, classroom management strategies, and inclusive practices such as special education or early intervention support. Experience Prior experience working with children in preschool or early childhood education settings is essential. Demonstrated knowledge of childhood development principles, behavior management techniques, and classroom management strategies. Experience developing curriculum content that supports literacy education, math skills, physical activity, and social-emotional learning. Familiarity with special education practices, early intervention programs, or working with children requiring additional support is highly desirable. Proven ability to communicate effectively with parents, colleagues, and children while fostering a positive learning environment.
