Job Description

Overview Join our vibrant early childhood education team as a Preschool/Childcare Assistant! In this role, you will play a vital part in creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for young children. Your enthusiasm and dedication will support their developmental milestones, foster positive learning experiences, and ensure each child's well-being. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children's lives while developing your skills in early childhood education. Duties Supervise and engage children in age appropriate activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development Support children's daily routines including meal times, naps, diapering, and outdoor play Ensure adherence to health and safety protocols, including first aid and CPR when necessary Maintain accurate documentation of children's progress, incidents, and classroom activities Requirements Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or similar settings is highly preferred Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices Certification in first aid and CPR (Pediatric First Aid preferred) Ability to work collaboratively with team members Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children and families Passion for caregiving, teaching young children, and fostering their growth and independence This role is an excellent opportunity for motivated individuals eager to contribute to the foundational years of children's development. $23.41 - $25.00 per hour
