Duties:

• Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children in a childcare setting
• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and curriculum for toddlers and preschool-aged children
• Support the development of social, emotional, cognitive, and physical skills in children
• Monitor and supervise children during playtime, meals, and rest periods
• Assist with potty training and personal hygiene routines
• Manage behavior and promote positive discipline techniques
• Communicate with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise
• Maintain a clean and organized childcare space

Requirements:

• Previous experience working with toddlers, preschoolers, or children with special needs is preferred
• Knowledge of child development principles and age-appropriate activities
• Ability to create and implement engaging curriculum plans
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues
• Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with children
• Ability to adapt to the needs of individual children, including those with autism or other special needs
• CPR and First Aid certification is a plus
