Job Description

Overview Join our vibrant childcare team as a Daycare Assistant and play a vital role in nurturing and supporting the development of young children. In this dynamic position, you will work closely with lead teachers and caregivers to create a safe, engaging, and educational environment for children across various age groups, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help foster a positive atmosphere where children can thrive, learn, and explore their world. Duties Assist in supervising children during daily activities, playtime, meals, naps, and transitions to ensure safety and engagement Support classroom management by helping organize activities that promote childhood development and learning Implement age-appropriate educational activities that encourage social skills, creativity, and curiosity Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment by adhering to health and safety protocols at all times Provide attentive care for infants and toddlers, including feeding, diapering, and comforting as needed Collaborate with team members to observe children's behavior and developmental progress for documentation purposes Experience Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, nannying, babysitting or similar caregiving roles is highly preferred. Infant experience preferred Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices Experience with classroom management techniques to foster positive behavior and social interactions Certification in first aid and CPR is advantageous but not mandatory; willingness to obtain certification required before start date Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining patience and compassion Join us in making a meaningful difference in young lives! Pay:
$17.00 - $19.00 per hour
