DEPENDABLE
Lead Infant Teacher who is passionate about helping our youngest learners reach developmental milestones. Position Summary The Lead Infant Teacher is responsible for creating a warm, responsive classroom that promotes healthy physical, emotional, cognitive, and social development for infants. The ideal candidate enjoys building strong relationships with families while maintaining a safe, organized, and developmentally appropriate learning environment. Responsibilities Create and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans and activities. Provide responsive care including feeding, diapering, and maintaining infant schedules. Foster secure attachments and positive relationships with children and families. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom. Complete daily observations and developmental documentation. Communicate with families regarding their child's daily activities and progress. Ensure compliance with all state licensing regulations and center policies. Supervise assistant teachers and model best practices. Participate in staff meetings and professional development. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. CDA, Associate's, or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education preferred. Previous experience working with infants in a licensed childcare setting. Knowledge of child development. Current CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain). Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and actively engage with children throughout the day.
