Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Lead Toddler Teacher to inspire and nurture our youngest learners. In this vital role, you will lead classroom activities, develop engaging curriculum tailored to toddler development, and foster a warm, safe, and stimulating environment. Your passion for early childhood education will help lay a strong foundation for children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth. As a leader in our educational community, you will collaborate with families, support team members, and ensure compliance with all safety and educational standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact during the crucial early years of childhood development. Shift is for a clsoing position. Duties Design and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum focusing on literacy education, math skills, physical education, and social-emotional learning tailored for toddlers Lead daily classroom activities that promote curiosity, exploration, and learning through play Manage classroom behavior with positive behavior management strategies to create a respectful and inclusive environment Oversee classroom management tasks including organization of materials, lesson planning, and maintaining a safe space for children Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns using clear and compassionate communication skills Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws related to child welfare and safety protocols Support children's individual needs through early intervention strategies and specialized education techniques such as special education accommodations when necessary Conduct assessments using standardized testing methods to monitor developmental progress and inform instruction Maintain accurate records of attendance, developmental milestones, and incident reports in accordance with licensing requirements Collaborate with team members on curriculum development initiatives that incorporate childhood development best practices Experience Proven teaching experience working with young children in a classroom setting, preferably within preschool or toddler care environments Strong background in early childhood education principles including child development instruction and classroom management techniques Experience developing curriculum that integrates literacy education, math concepts, physical activity, and social-emotional learning Knowledge of special education practices and early intervention strategies for diverse learner needs Familiarity with mandated reporting laws related to child welfare and safety standards in educational settings Previous experience communicating effectively with parents and guardians about children's progress and behavioral concerns Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional certifications in childhood development or preschool teaching are highly desirable Join us to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to nurturing the potential of every child. Pay:
$14.00 - $18.00 per hour
