Duties Develop and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate lesson plans tailored to infants' needs, incorporating curriculum development principles and learning technology tools. Lead daily classroom activities that promote physical, cognitive, social, and emotional development aligned with early childhood education standards. Monitor and assess individual child progress through student performance data analysis and formative assessments to inform instructional strategies. Manage classroom behavior using positive behavior management techniques and conflict resolution skills to foster a respectful learning environment. Collaborate with colleagues on instructional design, academic interventions, and specialized support for children with disabilities or unique learning needs. Maintain compliance with educational regulations and safety standards while ensuring a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom setting. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about child progress, developmental milestones, and classroom activities to build strong partnerships. Requirements Proven experience teaching young children in preschool or toddler care settings, with a strong understanding of childhood development principles. Knowledge of curriculum development, lesson planning, assessment-driven instruction, and early childhood education best practices such as Montessori or other pedagogies. Familiarity with learning technology tools including LMS (Learning Management Systems) for tracking student progress and educational content delivery. Experience working with children with disabilities or special education needs; familiarity with multi-tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) is preferred. Strong classroom management skills combined with effective communication skills to engage children, parents, and team members. Ability to analyze student performance data for evaluation of progress and implementation of targeted academic interventions. Understanding of educational compliance standards and regulation requirements relevant to early childhood education settings. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team of educators while maintaining a nurturing environment for infants.
