Job Summary We are looking for someone to fill a Teacher position working within the hours of 6:30am-6:00pm. The Premier School of Pickerington provides early care and education for children aged 6 weeks to 10 years old. To be considered for this position we prefer you have 1 year of experience. We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Assistant Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and experience working with children, particularly in a childcare setting. This role involves supporting other teachers in creating a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment that fosters the growth and development of all children. Responsibilities Participate fully in routine care and responsibilities in relation to assigned children. Supervise children that are in your care making safety a priority. Maintain proper student/teacher ratios at all times. Maintain a sanitary classroom environment. Prepare and maintain a safe and stimulating environment for children at all times. Working as a team with the other Teachers in the assigned classroom so that duties are shared. Working as a team member in the daily operations of the center's activities. Keeping accurate and current records (i.e.. Attendance records, incident reports) as required by the center. Requirements High School Diploma or GED Successful completion of a physical examination Clear background check Ability to manage classroom dynamics effectively. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with diverse populations. A commitment to fostering an inclusive environment for all students. Relevant certifications or coursework in education or child development is desirable.
