Location:
Deer Creek School District Antler Daycare Teacher PM Job Goal:
To provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where young children can learn, grow, and develop through age-appropriate activities and positive interactions. Aim to support each child's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development while building strong relationships with children, families, and coworkers.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous experience working with children is preferred, but not required. Must be willing to obtain CPR and First Aid certification or already hold a current certification. Must pass required background checks and meet all childcare licensing requirements.
Performance Responsibilities:
Provide a safe, nurturing, and positive environment for all children in the classroom. Supervise children at all times and follow all safety and childcare licensing requirements. Plan and participate in age-appropriate activities that support children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development. Build positive relationships with children and respond to their individual needs with patience and care. Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environment. Follow daily classroom schedules, routines, and center policies. Communicate respectfully and professionally with parents, families, and coworkers. Assist children with daily routines, including meals, toileting, handwashing, and rest periods as developmentally appropriate. Observe and document children's development, behavior, and progress as needed. Work collaboratively with other teachers and administration to provide consistent, high-quality care. Follow proper procedures for attendance, sign-in/sign-out, incident reporting, and classroom documentation. Attend staff meetings, training, and professional development opportunities. Maintain current CPR/First Aid certification or complete certification within the required timeframe. Demonstrate professionalism, dependability, flexibility, and a positive attitude while supporting the overall goals of the daycare program.
Shift Hours:
Monday-Friday 11:30 am - 4:45 pm
