Manage classroom behavior effectively through positive behavior management strategies to create a respectful and inclusive environment. Conduct child development assessments to monitor progress and tailor instruction to meet individual needs, including those requiring special education or early intervention services. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to share insights on their child's progress, address concerns, and foster strong home-school connections. Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws by accurately documenting incidents or concerns related to child welfare. Maintain a clean, organized classroom that supports safe toddler care, preschool activities, and classroom management best practices. Incorporate standardized testing when appropriate to evaluate developmental milestones and learning outcomes. Support children's physical development through experience teaching physical education activities tailored for young learners. Stay current with best practices in childhood development, early intervention strategies, and childcare regulations. Skills Proven experience working with children in early childhood settings such as daycare centers or preschools. Strong knowledge of curriculum development tailored for preschool-aged children including literacy education, math instruction, and physical activity. Experience teaching children with diverse needs, including special education and early intervention programs. Excellent classroom management skills to foster a positive learning environment that encourages participation and respect. Effective communication skills for parent engagement, team collaboration, and conveying instructions clearly to young learners. Familiarity with childhood development principles, mandated reporting laws, and child welfare practices. Ability to plan engaging lessons that incorporate child development instruction techniques across various subjects. First aid and CPR certification to ensure safety during all activities. Experience working with standardized testing tools designed for early childhood assessment purposes. Knowledge of behavior management techniques suitable for young children to promote social-emotional growth. Strong organizational skills for lesson planning, record keeping, and maintaining compliance with childcare standards.
