Job Description

Job Summary Our part time afternoon assistants work either 12-6pm, 1-6 or 3-6pm. You will be supported by the lead teacher and admin team, trained on site, and you will have the most fun EVER at a job working with our Ducks!

Responsibilities:

Provide attentive and nurturing care to children in a safe and stimulating environment
Engage children in age-appropriate activities, such as arts and crafts, games, and outdoor play
Helping with diapers and potty training when needed
Maintain a clean and organized childcare space and make sure the children go home clean and happy
Follow established routines and schedules
Monitor children's behavior and address any issues or concerns promptly
Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding their child's day

Requirements:

Previous experience in babysitting, nannying, or caregiving roles
Familiarity with behavior management techniques
Must be 18 years or 17 years old if you are actively enrolled in your High School's Early Childhood Program
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with children
Willingness to be flexible and work with different age groups
Ability to arrive to work on time and as expected This position offers the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of children while gaining valuable experience in childcare.
