Job Description

Job Summary Our part time afternoon assistants work either 12-6pm, 1-6 or 3-6pm. You will be supported by the lead teacher and admin team, trained on site, and you will have the most fun EVER at a job working with our Ducks!
Responsibilities:
  • Provide attentive and nurturing care to children in a safe and stimulating environment
  • Engage children in age-appropriate activities, such as arts and crafts, games, and outdoor play
  • Helping with diapers and potty training when needed
  • Maintain a clean and organized childcare space and make sure the children go home clean and happy
  • Follow established routines and schedules
  • Monitor children's behavior and address any issues or concerns promptly
  • Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding their child's day
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in babysitting, nannying, or caregiving roles
  • Familiarity with behavior management techniques
  • Must be 18 years or 17 years old if you are actively enrolled in your High School's Early Childhood Program
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with children
  • Willingness to be flexible and work with different age groups
