Overview Join our vibrant early childhood education team as a Toddler Teacher, where your passion for nurturing young minds will help shape the foundation for lifelong learning. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum that promotes literacy, numeracy, physical activity, and social skills for toddlers Create a safe, nurturing classroom environment that encourages exploration and independence Manage daily classroom routines including diapering, feeding, nap times, and outdoor activities with patience and professionalism Utilize behavior management strategies to guide positive social interactions and emotional regulation among children Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns Maintain accurate records of child development progress, attendance, and incident reports in compliance with mandated reporting laws Collaborate with colleagues to plan engaging lessons that incorporate Montessori methods or other early childhood education philosophies Qualifications Prior experience working with children in a daycare, preschool, or childcare setting is highly preferred Knowledge of child development principles and early intervention strategies for toddlers Familiarity with curriculum development, classroom management techniques, and behavior management practices Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members Experience teaching physical education or implementing literacy education programs is advantageous Ability to adhere to mandated reporting laws and maintain confidentiality of student information Demonstrated passion for early childhood education and commitment to fostering a positive learning environment Join us in creating joyful learning experiences that empower young children to thrive!
