Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to inspire and nurture young learners in a vibrant early childhood education environment. In this role, you will create engaging lesson plans, foster a positive classroom atmosphere, and support the developmental needs of children from toddler age through preschool. Your enthusiasm and expertise will help lay the foundation for lifelong learning, social skills, and emotional growth. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum that promotes literacy, math, physical education, and social-emotional development Create a safe, welcoming classroom environment that encourages curiosity, exploration, and independence Manage daily classroom activities, including lesson planning, behavior management, and classroom organization Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about children's progress, behavior, and developmental milestones Incorporate special education strategies and early intervention techniques to support children with diverse learning needs Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and child welfare regulations Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, and standardized testing results Provide first aid and CPR as needed to ensure the safety and well-being of all children Qualifications Prior experience working with children in a preschool or daycare setting is required; classroom experience is highly valued Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, early childhood education best practices, and behavior management techniques Experience developing curriculum and lesson plans tailored to young learners' needs Familiarity with special education methods and early intervention strategies is a plus Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred or required upon employment Ability to manage a classroom effectively while fostering an inclusive environment for all children Knowledge of mandated reporting laws related to child welfare is essential Join us in shaping the future by providing young children with the nurturing guidance they need to thrive! Pay:
$15.00 - $17.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 - 30.0 per week
