Job Description

The ECLC is a Keystone STAR 4 childcare facility and is hiring for an Infant Teacher. We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Infant Teacher to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for children, fostering their development through engaging activities and educational programs. You will work closely with young learners to support their growth in various areas, including spiritual, literacy, physical education, and social skills.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum that promotes literacy education and physical development.
  • Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all children.
  • Engage in behavior management techniques to promote positive interactions among students.
  • Monitor and assess student progress through standardized testing and early intervention strategies.
  • Provide individualized support to students based on their unique needs and learning styles.
  • Foster strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to enhance the educational experience.
  • Maintain a clean and organized classroom that encourages exploration and learning.
  • Collaborate with other educators to share best practices in curriculum development and childcare.
Requirements:
  • 18 years or older.
  • Proven Experience in Childcare documented experience.
  • Help provide & maintain a Christian environment in which the children may grow physically, emotionally, mentally, socially, & spiritually that is appropriate for the age level of children being served.
  • Experience working with students of varying abilities, including those requiring early intervention.
  • Knowledge of curriculum development techniques tailored for young learners.
  • Ability to provide toddler care with patience and compassion.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and staff members.
  • A commitment to fostering a positive learning environment that encourages growth and development.
  • Clear PA Child Abuse Clearance, PA Criminal Clearance, FBI Fingerprint Clearance & National Sex Offender Registry Clearance (NSOR) on first day.

Full-time Expected hours: 40 per week
Shift:
8:30am-5:30pm with a 1-hour break
