Job Description

Overview Join our vibrant childcare team as a Daycare Assistant and become a vital part of creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young children. In this role, you will support lead teachers in implementing engaging activities, ensuring child safety, and fostering positive developmental experiences. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help lay the foundation for children's early learning journeys while promoting a warm and welcoming atmosphere for both children and their families. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children's lives through active caregiving and educational support. Responsibilities Assist in supervising children during play, meals, naps, and learning activities to ensure safety and engagement Support classroom management by maintaining organized, clean, and inviting learning spaces Implement age-appropriate activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development Communicate effectively with parents regarding daily routines, progress, and any concerns Follow all health and safety protocols, including first aid procedures and mandated reporting laws Help with diapering, feeding, and basic infant care as needed for younger children in the center Support staff in maintaining compliance with licensing requirements related to childhood development standards Experience Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or childcare settings is highly preferred Knowledge of child development instruction and classroom management techniques Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special education needs is a plus Certification in first aid, CPR, including pediatric first aid, is required or willing to obtain upon hire Familiarity with early childhood education principles and toddler care practices Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with parents and team members Previous nannying or babysitting experience involving young children is advantageous Join us to help shape bright futures! Pay:
$16.00 - $17.00 per hour
