Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Child Care Educator to inspire and nurture young learners in a vibrant early childhood education setting. In this role, you will create a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment that promotes curiosity, learning, and social-emotional growth. Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive curriculum plans tailored to the developmental needs of children, including literacy education, math, and early intervention strategies. Create a nurturing classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and social interaction among children. Manage classroom activities effectively, employing behavior management techniques and classroom management skills to maintain a positive learning atmosphere. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about children's progress, milestones, and any concerns, fostering strong partnerships for child welfare. Conduct assessments of child development using standardized testing methods and document progress accurately. Incorporate specialized knowledge such as special education principles and Montessori methods to support diverse learning needs. Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and uphold health and safety standards through first aid and CPR certification. Collaborate with colleagues on lesson planning, classroom strategies, and professional development initiatives focused on childhood development instruction. Experience Prior experience working with children in early childhood settings such as preschools or daycare centers is essential. Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management techniques. Experience with teaching young children across various age groups, including toddlers care and preschool experience. Knowledge of childhood development principles, behavior management strategies, and special education practices. Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members. Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional qualifications in Montessori education or childhood welfare are advantageous.
