Hiring Requirements:
Responsible for providing a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate learning environment for young children. The teacher will plan and implement engaging activities that support children's social, emotional, cognitive, language, and physical development while maintaining a positive and welcoming classroom environment. The teacher is expected to build positive relationships with children and families, follow center policies and procedures, maintain appropriate supervision at all times, and comply with applicable child care licensing requirements. Minimum Hiring Requirements Candidates must meet the qualifications required by the applicable state childcare licensing regulations and Kids World Learning Center's policies.
Minimum requirements may include:
High school diploma or GED, or other education level required for the specific classroom/position.
Previous experience working with young children is preferred.
Ability to communicate effectively with children, families, and coworkers.
Ability to work as part of a team.
Ability to maintain a professional, dependable, and positive attitude.
Ability to pass required background checks and screenings.
Ability to complete required orientation and childcare training.
Current CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain certification within the required timeframe.
Ability to meet required staff-to-child ratios and supervision requirements. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Provide active and attentive supervision of children at all times.
Maintain a safe, clean, organized, and welcoming classroom.
Plan and implement age-appropriate learning activities and experiences.
Support children's social-emotional development and positive behavior.
Communicate regularly and professionally with parents and families.
Follow daily schedules, classroom routines, and center policies.
Assist with meals, snacks, toileting, diapering, handwashing, and other personal care needs as appropriate for the age group.
Observe and document children's development and progress.
Maintain accurate classroom and child records as required.
Participate in staff meetings, training, and professional development.
Work cooperatively with other teachers, administrators, and center staff.
Report injuries, illnesses, safety concerns, and incidents according to center procedures.
Follow all applicable state childcare licensing regulations and health and safety requirements.
Maintain confidentiality regarding children, families, and center operations.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Center Director or designated supervisor.
CDA (Child Development Associate) preferred or Willing to obtain CDA
