Responsibilities Design and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote literacy, math, physical activity, and social-emotional development Foster a nurturing environment that supports children's emotional well-being and encourages curiosity Manage classroom behavior through positive reinforcement and effective behavior management strategies Communicate regularly with parents to share progress, address concerns, and build strong relationships Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and maintain accurate records of child development progress Support children with special needs through tailored instructional strategies and collaboration with specialists in early intervention and special education Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment that adheres to health and safety standards including first aid and CPR certification requirements Skills Extensive experience working with children across various age groups, especially toddlers and preschoolers Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, curriculum development, and classroom management techniques Proven ability to plan engaging lessons focused on literacy education, math skills, physical education, and overall child welfare Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with parents, colleagues, and specialists in early intervention or special education Familiarity with standardized testing procedures related to early childhood assessments Ability to manage classroom routines efficiently while fostering a positive learning environment Knowledge of mandated reporting laws, child safety protocols, and first aid/CPR procedures Experience working in private or preschool settings is preferred but not required Join us in shaping the future by providing young children with the foundational skills they need to succeed!
