Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Daycare Spanish Teacher to inspire young learners through engaging language instruction and nurturing classroom experiences. In this role, you will create a vibrant, supportive environment where children can develop their Spanish language skills while exploring early childhood education principles. Your passion for working with children and expertise in curriculum development will help foster a love of learning, cultural awareness, and social-emotional growth. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children's early development within a dynamic educational setting. Responsibilities Design and implement age-appropriate Spanish language lessons that incorporate literacy education, classroom management, and interactive activities. Foster a positive classroom environment that promotes behavior management, social skills, and emotional well-being. Develop and adapt curriculum materials to meet the diverse needs of children, including those requiring special education or early intervention support. Engage children in activities that enhance childhood development, including physical education, arts, and play-based learning. Monitor and assess student progress through observations, documentation, and standardized testing when applicable. Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and colleagues to support each child's overall welfare and educational journey. Maintain a clean, safe classroom environment that adheres to childcare standards and promotes child welfare at all times. Qualifications Proven experience working with children in a daycare or preschool setting, with a strong background in early childhood education or Montessori methods. Demonstrated ability to develop engaging lesson plans that incorporate curriculum development principles across literacy, math, and physical education. Knowledge of classroom management techniques suitable for toddlers and preschoolers. Familiarity with special education strategies and early intervention practices is preferred. Excellent communication skills to effectively work with students, parents, and team members. Certification or training in early childhood education or related fields is highly desirable. Passion for fostering bilingual language skills and cultural awareness through immersive Spanish instruction. Pay:
$15.00 - $20.00 per hour
