In this role, you will create a warm, engaging, and safe environment for infants during the afternoon hours, supporting their social, emotional, and developmental needs. Your dedication will inspire curiosity and joy in our youngest learners while fostering positive relationships with families and colleagues. Duties Supervise and engage infants in age-appropriate activities that promote development in areas such as motor skills, language, and socialization Implement child development instruction strategies aligned with early childhood education best practices Ensure the safety and well-being of infants through vigilant child supervision and adherence to safety protocols including pediatric first aid and CPR procedures Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, milestones, and daily experiences to foster strong partnerships Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment conducive to learning and exploration while following health and safety standards Document developmental observations and assist in planning individualized activities that support each child's growth needs Follow mandated reporting laws by promptly reporting any concerns regarding child welfare or safety issues Qualifications Prior experience working with infants or toddlers in a childcare, daycare center, or preschool setting is highly preferred Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education techniques Certification in first aid, CPR, and pediatric first aid required or willing to obtain upon hire Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus Strong classroom management skills combined with effective behavior management strategies Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, and team members Ability to work collaboratively within a team dedicated to nurturing young learners in a supportive environment This position is ideal for passionate educators eager to contribute to early childhood development through energetic teaching and compassionate care. Pay:
